@PlacidCasual i had that set, mixed into a metric ton of Lego that has been added to by generations since but the special base plate was used for everything forty years ago!

It was pleasant evening last night sorting the parts out of a couple of mixed sets. A simple but satisfying build with my youngest. She liked the idea that it was Daddy's second oldest set and over 40 years old.

I did the Pixel Bunker the other weekend which was ok but quite a few broken machines and the Film Museum sounds quite expensive at first glance, was the Lego museum worth the money?

Not been yet. Might go in a couple of weekends time, as the good lady wants to go MK as she wants some bits from IKEA.
