Nice one :) That really does look good!

I wasn't going to get a wrist rest but it really looks the part and suits the keyboard so i think i will after all. Do you know where every piece of punctuation etc is well enough to never have to look? I guess not being able to look will help to reinforce your memory even if you do make some mistakes at first...

I never looked at the keyboard when typing anyway so it's no big deal for me. The only thing I haven't got used to yet is the smaller enter key. Shouldn't be a problem though after a while. I have used US keyboards a lot in the past but never got used to the enter key lol.

Ok I paid £106 + the £28 that's only like £8 or something more that the filco ninja, but yes your right only slightly higher. :D
Hmm that's a fair bit more than I thought it'd be. Was hoping it'd be about £110.
How did you pay? Paypal?

Without the wrist wrest, I'm wondering if £18 extra is worth it for engraved keys over a zowie celeritas.

just got my Filco Majestouch 2 in the post today from the keyboard company in the UK. They were great to deal with and I would definitely recommend them.

Shame about the high price of them though...

Its good quality, mine has last 4/5 years and its nice and simple
ok i'll bite...
no its not, its cheap, its tacky, terrible build quality and feels mushy, this is coming from someone who has had a Saitek eclipse I +II and the newer Cyborg V7(much better quality than the eclipse but still nothing compared to a Mech.

UK WASDs are up. Gonna get me one I think.

EDIT: Oh lord, No MX Brown switches. ETA April 2012! I might just go for something else then. That's a shame.

Do yourself a favour and go blue! :D My blue WASD really isn't loud at all and feels great.

Which switches? I've got the same keyboard from the same place :P mine are brown.

Full custom on UK WASD keyboards is still unavailable as well :( Apparently coming this month, but if the brown switches aren't coming until April then the custom may as well be coming in April for what it's worth to me!

Interested! :D

Ok here you go (Sorry for pics, phone has rubbish camera, its a lot nicer in the flesh!!)

The LEDs are blue on this model and the front Filco logo black. It has a UK layout and Brown switches.

The browns are nice to type on and i can feel the tactile bump. I like this as this is part of the reason i got a mechanical KB over domes, which don't offer this kind of feedback to the user. I can managed to not bottom out, but need more practice. The sound when you bottom out is not unpleasant though!

The wrist rest is very solid, heavy and well made, so feels like it was worth the money, which is good.

I went tenleyless because i never use the numpad and wanted more space. Plus I think it looks modern and a bit cooler.

I guess this will last a long time, and if the keys go shiny I can just get engraved PBT keys off the bay for about £30 delivered or Filco will probably sell just the front printed keys.
