Can anyone who's used this phone from near launch report on its performance after being used and filled with apps etc. I like the looks of this (if not the style compared to the S7/Iphone 6p) my only worry is cheap build and it slowing down/crashing after a while.
Also can anyone recommend a good case, ideally not flip, but something rugged with water resistance.

The Exynos based S7 just got knocked of its perch.
A nice performance boost from the 3.2.1 update.
Why has he used the slow version of the S7?
Exynos is the faster version - how do you not know this?
what cheap build? It's has great build quality.

The 820 one I had for a few weeks beat the Exynos version.
Anyway it's the rom that counts the most. And at least +1 are updating theirs.
I decided to pick up this case, fiver on eBay.
The case arrived today, took just over 3 weeks. It's a great fit and very slimline and all the cutouts are perfect. Adds a ton of grip too. A no brainer for a fiver.

The OP3 is better in every area apart from camera, and possibly size if you prefer a smaller phone.

Not really bothered about changing my N5x as I like it, but I sometimes wonder whether or not Google have not done enough to make it as good as it should be. I have to say the camera is pretty damned sweet on it though.

Some have the same kind of view with regards the OP3. Although the hardware is absolutely amazing there's a couple of software-related issues that's impacting its basic smartphone functions.

Updates are coming (relatively) fast which is good! I had heard that previous versions had a lot of bugs which remained unsolved.
Having ordered one of these phones last Friday, which I am hoping to receive in the next day or so, I am certainly pleased to hear about the latest update.
Hopefully there will be more of these to come in due course... as and when necessary of course!
