**** The Official OnePlus 3 Thread ****

I'm good at installing screen protectors but whatever I do, the Ultimate Shield protectors (and similar ones, e.g. Zagg), always end up with a tiny bit of dust underneath. Even when I install them in the bathroom with the shower running.

Only happens on that type, really odd.

If you are going to a store make sure you click and collect.

I phoned my local store who reserved one for me but the in store price was £336 + £10 top up, i showed him the online price but no one in store could over ride the screen price.

He said OK i'll take it off reserve and you can buy it online on your phone which I tried to do but it wouldn't work because the phone didn't come up as available!

At this point i thought sod it i'll just pay the tenner and be gone but no! the phone would not go through check out as the in store stock levels were showing no phones available, so we had to go away for a game of bowling and a KFC until the phone appeared back in stock for me to buy.

But loving the phone now i have it home :D

If you get it through the O2 store it is.

They are unlocked. I picked up the last one in my local O2 store yesterday and they confirmed this before I bought it. Whacked my Vodafone SIM in and it worked with no problems.

Had to buy a £10 PAYG top-up though.

Phone died last night and wouldn't turn on. Assumed it was just out of battery so stuck it on to charge and went to bed.

Still wouldn't turn on this morning (no response to power button) so tries starting in bootloader. Came on straight away and let me reboot the phone. Claimed it was upgrading and then booted quickly.

It's now running absolutely fine (feels quicker than it was yesterday) and is showing OS version 3.2.6 (and I can't remember what it was on before the lockup!).

Very odd...

I had a similar problem with my Nexus 6P a couple of months back where it wouldn't charge, but turning it on, booting into the bootloader and rebooting sorted it. It was fine before and since, so unless it resurfaces I wouldn't worry.

On mine it seems it was a problem with the software side of quick charging, not the hardware itself (a Google rep talked me through the fix, as I assumed it was a faulty charger, as it did charge through a PC).

Yeah, not overly worried (although did have visions of having to use a Lumia 435 as a backup phone while my OP3 was off being repaired!) from a one off glitch.

Fingers crossed it doesn't reoccur!

Same here, unlocked.
