**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

Very nice. Will OnePlus update this automatically via OTA then?
Yeah they will but it looks so much better I couldn't be bothered to wait for the official update :p
The OP launcher is integrated as an app so it gets updates via the Google Play Store, that's how everyone should get it.

Yep me too! As you say it hasn't been updated on the Play Store yet so I just installed the APK as well. It's a very nice improvement I have to say. I constantly flit between OP and Nova and had just reverted to OP launcher this week. Obviously Nova is king for customisation and other bits 'n' bobs but it's Android 10 integration is pretty poor.

I constantly use Nova and the good thing is the app switcher you get remains the OP one so there isn't a need to sacrifice one for the other.

Just received the Open Beta 3 for my 7T Pro. Not a lot in the change log and the only visual difference I can see is the icons in the notification shade are now like those on the 8 series.
April security update also included.

7t pro available for £570 from John Lewis

Gone for it, been checking various sites almost every day over the past couple of weeks waiting for a price drop, plus I get a discount on JL vouchers through an employee benefits portal thing so it came to £551. :)

Just need to decide now whether to go for the OnePlus Wireless Z earphones for £50 or just get a £5 adapter to use my wired ones. Anyone ever used the OnePlus earphones and could give an idea of how good they are? I quite like that they're linked with a wire rather than being completely wireless.

Coming from a 3 year old Honor 8 Pro this should be quite a nice upgrade.

Open Beta 5 now out which includes June security update. There were three headline additions including a dedicated quick settings tile for dark mode (which I've been personally waiting on for ages), Bluetooth hearing aid app support and a one-handed mode - annoyingly the latter was pulled. With a one handed mode and an AOD I think the software package would be complete for me.

I've seen you can root and get AOD

Just checking in to say, after 10 months of ownership I am still very impressed with this phone. It's still zippy and the battery life is as good as when I bought it.

I'm an annual upgrader (due to addiction :p) and I've got one eye on the Pixel 5 this year, however I've been really impressed with OnePlus and may hold out for the OnePlus 8T when it comes around.
