**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

This may be a silly question but do we know if any of the well known video apps like youtube or plex will actually run full screen on the pro model or will they just jsut have the standard black lines down the side of them like they do with current phones with notches?
 
I'd have thought it depends on the content.

Anything filmed in 21:9 or thereabouts should be able to fill the screen. Obviously 16:9 content will have bars. Irritatingly all the tech YTers seem to film in 21:9 now despite the fact said screens are still a rarity... its particularly annoying on my iPad with its 4:3 screen.

YTers are doing 18:9 aka 2:1.

If true, this is good news. Love my OP5 but when I have my phone in my jeans pocket sometimes I miss phone calls because I never felt the phone vibrate. I'm deaf so I don't always hear it. For example I was mowing the grass last weekend and missed a few calls because I could neither hear nor feel the phone ringing.
