Oxygen OS is the best android os out there IMO.
Better even than stock android.

OxygenOS as-in the rom itself is brilliant, not confusing it with the oneplus launcher (which can be replaced)....which is a bit hit and miss.

I would prefer them to use all google apps personally rather then their own take on stuff, but that's nit picking.

as above - clean, no bloat, just works with out all the annoying crap that samsung chuck into their software

Yep. Before oneplus I always had Samsung.

This oneplus is the best phone I've ever had. Mainly because of the OnePlus O/S.

No bloat, fast and clean.

This is very true. I hate the bloat on my s8. Oh and the pitifully slow updates.

Samsung have great hardware but they lack in the software department.

It's excellent. It's the best version of Android I've used (apart from custom ROMs). It's very close to stock with a few useful additions and features.
