**** The Official OnePlus 7/OnePlus 7 Pro Thread ****

One other finicky thing. OnePlus highlighted in their 7t/Pro keynote about refined landscape gestures along with Android/Oxygen 10. Why on earth haven't they allowed landscape orientation on desktop and settings menu? It almost defeats the purpose.

WiFi calling is working at work on 3 mobile but not at home . Any idea what or if anything in my router settings might cause the problem at home? This is with my new 7t

anyone noticing a lot of software bugs?

mine keeps going back to the light theme (even though all my apps and the notification shade are still in dark mode)
popups every now and again saying "parking location set" or "no internet available"
when I'm in an app, I can't get back to the homepage (gestures basically stop working)

I had 10 OTA as soon as it launched (the one with the horrible jet black dark mode), did a factory reset, then a few weeks later the decent update came out which fixed so many things. I've not reset since then, so maybe I need to?

I can't help, but having had enough of the problems with my Pixel, I was all set to go 7T, but your post makes me think I'd be no happier.

Seems like all phones are varying degrees of rubbish. I'm honestly just tempted to get some cheap £100 thing and be done with it all.

Has anyone removed the screen protector without issue? I'm close to buying a 7T but that screen protector just makes the screen look garbage. I've been and had a play in a coupe of shops and all the screens have light scratches and corners looking like they're ready to peel.

I'm concerned that I'll be left with a residue if I peel it off?

I had no issue when I peeled the protector off my 6t after a few weeks. You need to think of it more as a piece of protective plastic it ships with rather than a full on screen protector. I will leave mine on as long as I'm willing to live with it. It does seem to scratch pretty easily but I hadn't my protector off my 6t more than 2 or 3 days and I went and got a deep scratch on the screen.

Cheers.

I'm close to buying, I see Amazon are doing them "sold by Amazon" so not grey goods, and the guarantee is 2 years manufacturers.

7T frosted silver is calling me... :p

I'm now slightly concerned that Black Friday might bring buyers remorse... But then, how much could they really discount this from £549?

I'm happy to be corrected but I don't think OnePlus go in for the whole 'Sale' thing. I can't recall their phones being significantly discounted in the past. Generally it's the networks who offer discounts and since OnePlus are limited to 3 and EE now there isn't much scope for competition.

Stock film felt good but was rubbish got a hole in it only after 2 weeks don't know how lol.
Trying to find a non glass screen protector that doesn't feel rubbery.

I completely forgot about my screen protector, it's really well put on and I don't feel like it's affecting touch at all. Will keep it on for a while too, I also remember scratching my 3T pretty quick.

Just realised the 10.0.3 update for the 7T Pro fixed the full screen gestures, so no need to use the pill any more.

Also for some reason the weird photo bug didn't happen at all after I posted about it here. Took a lot more shots for the remainder of my holiday and it was fine.

And yes, the preapplied screen protector is bad, was trying to watch videos on it but noticed scratches on the screen and realised it's the screen protector. Will definitely replace it with a better one.
