ML seems great so far, bar one thing...how the hell do you turn off the Password remembering option in Safari? I don't want to do it for every site!
In Safari settings.

I heard about that firmware update - I have an early 2011 MacBook Pro - I thought that I was good to go?
ok guys i have question
i have macbook air 2012 13
so was using 10.7 and wired memory was mass 400 mb
now after upgrading to mountain lion i havent done clean install just downloaded from app store and installed directly my wired ram usage i 1gb
is this normal guys?
This is a joke. The password they've sent me doesn't open the file... :/
EDIT - They sent me two different locked PDF files in the end. Got a second one shortly after the password. I wonder if i should ask what the password is for it.
Which way perfect?
excellent. how cool
I'm trying to do a clean install but I'm getting an issue where it says the restore on to my spare external HD doesn't work. Same thing happens when trying to burn to DVD as well, the verify fails. I've tried re-downloading it about 5 times now. Any ideas?
Always amazes me how so many people have problems on each and every OS release. I haven't had any major problems since my first Mac that came with Snow Leopard.
Can a fresh install be done from the ML installer as Downloaded from the App Store?
I've just done a fresh install to my Mac Pro and an upgraded install to my MacBook Pro.
iMessages is... poor.
Every chat protocol, including texts, really needs to be uploaded to Apple's servers, otherwise it simply does not work with missing messages.
Even if I just use iMessage to message people, if they do it from their phone and it arrives as a text message how useless is that if I'm at my Mac Pro?
Otherwise, I've had to symlink a few things to get it how I want and disable Gate Keeper but hey ho.
Office 2010 for PC and Office for Mac includes an option to save to SkyDrive.I cloud is built directly into pages now. You create documents either on your mac or iCloud and they are automatically saved to icloud for backups. Last time I checked, word didn't have any where near that level of integration.
Why the :/?
Hardly a LMAO.
10.5.1 was under 3 weeks, 10.7.1 was under 4 weeks.
It's an initial point update to squish bugs, not another 4GB download.
