The Official PES7 News thread ;)

You never know after PES6 on the 360 compared to the PS2 version.

That was just Konami being lazy ***** though, im very tempted not to get pes 7 because of it. Lets face it they hardly change the game anyway, i normally get every other one and i still barely notice a difference. I hope FIFA beat them this time round to give them a kick up the behind.

They do change the game dramatically, it never needs big changes anyway, just small refinements but they do make a huge difference.

I could never go back to 5.

There was a rumour a while ago that the SPL would be fully licenced, has this been confirmed/denied?

Im in the same boat as you Andy, all my friends i play this with will buy it on 360, but if the PS3 is superior as muted, then I guess im going to have to find a whole load of new friends to play with.

I was hoping they would allow proper on line leagues with this version, so you could set up a league with friends, and play through it without having to use pesrankings or the like, it would be a great addition.

If the 360 version allows me to scan myself in, finally Everton can have a world class forward to play up top. :)

I'd buy the 360 version just for that feature :D

I can actually see myself buying both versions, i ended up buying the PS2, PC and 360 versions of pro evo 6 :p

Ditto, I'm trying to get the GF to buy the 360 version, me the PS :D

Hopefully the PS3 version wont have any acheivement point style thingy - then you wont get cheating scum pausing until you quit so they can get the default win. Didn't that happen on the 360 version a lot?

Anyone heard much about the PSP version? I had 6 on PSP but I thought the gameplay was a bit jerky compared to 5.

I like 6 on the PSP, although never played 5 on it to comment on the difference. I just wish I could get used to the controls :(

New Stadiums :
- Dragao (FC Porto - Portugal)
- El Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti (River Plate - Argentina)
What?! No Emirates (Arsenal) stadium again?! surely not!

I think the three times better is BS although it would be nice. Surely Konami are just taking the 360 port and fixing the bad things about it, then adding more features.

If you have a 360 and a PS3 and don't know what to get it on, I think it's a no brainer. If you buy it for the PS3 you should be able to update the option file by simply using a memory stick to transfer the file, the DualShock is probably better for PES as well, not to mention free online.

The community for PES is great for patching so even if the Premiership teams aren't licensed you can update my game at no extra cost.

To be honest, give me with the current 360 version with no slowdown, save replay option, edit mode, better master league, faster gameplay, improved shooting and heading and I'll be happy :)

Looks that way but at least there is more stadiums then PES6 on 360 (Shame again not as much as PS2 version though). :)

It is confirmed that Jon Champion and Mark Lawrenson are going to replace Peter Brackley and Trevor Brooking as commentators.

About time. :D

I heard the 360 version of PES6 was a PS2 port with beefed up graphics but PES7 will be the first true next gen PES with improved physics, gameplay, AI, graphics etc. Maybe I heard wrong?

do you think mark lawrensen will be super-pro liverpool on the game as he is when he commentates on BBC?

Think the commentary will be muted on my copy of the game.
