Hey,

Does anyone happen to know if you back up a console, will it restore the partitions as well? I have a Linux partition that is obviously dead now, so I'd like to reclaim that 10GB back!!

Has anyone tried putting a PS3 harddrive in a PC? My mate gave me his (I think its meant to be 150GB?) but my BIOS doesn't even see it...
 
BIOS should see it, otherwise it's a dead drive. You will not be able to read the actual data though, as it's encrypted and probably in some custom file system.

just done some cleaning of my PS3 as yesterday the fans maxed out for like 20 minutes like 5 times, so got the hoover and sucked out a ball of dust the size of my fist :o!!! If anyone wants to add me its icy__sniper just say your from OCUK cos I've nearly filled the friends list!
 
Is there such a thing as gamepads with normal clicky L2 and r" buttons i find it impossible to play fifa with analogue shoulder buttons
 
I tried my logitech rumblepad 2 and it works apart from the rumble and of course no home button but you can simply map ps3 pad to #2.

It does come with bugs though sometimes it seems UP gets jammed and i have had this on some pc games of console ports if I recall ?

I have an old rockfire ps2 pad converter for pc would that work ? I cant try it as i don't have a ps2 pad anymore also I am about to try my xbox 1 pads that were simply rewired to standard usb bet that works too tbh but alas dodgy analogue shoulder buttons so for now am sticking to rumblepad 2.
So I take it any pc usb gamepad would work ?
