Glad I got this out of the way early on. Load times seem vastly improved. Everything is instant. SSD seems best choice as no heat / noise from the drive and obviously much faster. 500GB models can be found relatively cheap now. Def would recommend it over the stock drive.

Yeah and before anyone mentions it.. Doing this upgrade on a Peppa pig book is a necessary step

I've just banged a 480GB Agility 3 in I found on offer and I'm first on a server in BF4 by a good 5-10 seconds depending on the map.

I had the SSD here as someone wanted if for a build, but then changed their mind lol. Kind of ended up a freebie. It's been just laying around.. So thought I may as well put it to use. I'll most likely keep the original drive as a spare. Or sell it on MM, not sure yet.

The speed difference is instantly noticeable. Load times seem much quicker, everything is just instant in the menu's etc.

The 500GB SSD's are relatively 'cheap' these days, if I was buying a drive I would go for one of them. In a few years 1TB will probably be at current 500GB prices anyway.

Agreed. Seems daft to spend money that could be better spent on games/PS+, just to shave at most 10 seconds off the loading time for a game. I'd rather just have the extra games.

Arrghhhh Resogun annoys me so much, but I keep wanting to play it when I make really stupid mistakes. Why overdrive have you not recharged when I want you to?!? Not really touched my AAA games because of it...

Does anyone think that Flower PS4 just looks like Flower PS3? Not really noticed much differences apart from a smidge of AA...

Yeh, I really couldn't be bothered with £50 profit to be honest. I would probably need to be offered double my money to even be tempted. Strange decision dude

I'm sure you know this already but the circle around you shows the recharge times. Top for boost (also audio), bottom for overdrive.

I can understand ssd's for pc use where it makes a huge difference to overall responsiveness. But in a gaming console? Hmmm, bit of a waste of money I think.
