*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Probably because the Neo is not a PS4 replacement and will continue to be sold alongside one another.
So a PS4 now will be the same as a PS4 later.

Gotta ask for all who are experienced with their PS4... I read up about the feature where they restored the ability to play music off a USB. But here's the big question: can I stream music from my PC and play it on my PS4, whilst playing games? I remember last gen it was possible for both PS3 and XB360 to stream music, but only the 360 could play the music while playing a game. I've ordered a few games: Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted Collection and Bloodborne GOTY. I'll probably order Uncharted 4 later and leave it at that for a while. That's too many games to play.

Anybody know what's free on PSN this month and whether it's worth me buying it, considering the list of games (they're all single player)?

My get it if my friends do otherwise i would skip it, already completed it on the xbox 360 it was fun playing with friend but solo its meh. That reminds i need to complete RE zero

Anyone picking up Resident Evil 5 remaster tomorrow?

I stayed away from RE5 when it first came out because of negative impressions but played it on PS3 years ago when it was a PS+ game and really enjoyed it.

Didn't know it was out today on PS4 but when I saw it on the store I bought it immediately.

No regrets!
Only an hour and a bit in so far but loving it once again.

Is it?! I've not seen it on Amazon. Is it digital download only?

I think it is digital only. I fired up the PC version yesterday as I wanted to get a few Steam trading cards and before you know it, two hours had passed. I got really engrossed again! But my laptop only manages about 15fps so I'll definitely get the PS4 version. I hope it's 1080p60 as advertised.

I saw somewhere else that it is 1080p and the frame rate is mostly 60fps although it drops down sometimes, but nothing horrible. From my own experience I would say it is mostly 60 and I haven't noticed anything offensive frame rate wise.

The opening cut scene looks horrible but after that everything has been very good so far.

How do you solve the dilemma of having lots of games to play but not knowing where to begin? :p I seem to spend more time reading about games than playing them these days. :(

I tend to only buy one or two games at any given time. On PS4 physical I only have Dark Souls II and Dishonored to play. Been through Dishonored and I'm currently going through the DLC. Such an amazing game really looking forward to 2.
