*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Gotta ask for all who are experienced with their PS4... I read up about the feature where they restored the ability to play music off a USB. But here's the big question: can I stream music from my PC and play it on my PS4, whilst playing games? I remember last gen it was possible for both PS3 and XB360 to stream music, but only the 360 could play the music while playing a game. I've ordered a few games: Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted Collection and Bloodborne GOTY. I'll probably order Uncharted 4 later and leave it at that for a while. That's too many games to play.

Anybody know what's free on PSN this month and whether it's worth me buying it, considering the list of games (they're all single player)?

You can. Can stream it over DNLA using the media player and it does work during games.

Just cancelled my PSVR pre order - I was an early adopter of PS Move, and that in the end ended up being a bit of a waste and ironically I sold the move controllers that could have been used with PSVR.

I was considering keeping the pre order and just putting it up on ebay if supplies were short, but knowing my luck supply will be fine and I'd be stuck with it, or loss money.

I'm going to wait this VR game out, and see if it does take off before I invest over £400 in VR Tech.

Going to play the long game on newer console tech for a change, plus I was very much on the fence with VR to start with , seems interesting tech but not sure if its for me yet.

I can see myself doing the same also, it's a lot of money to commit so soon. I'd rather put the money towards the PS4.5

My thoughts as well. I'd rather have a beefier PS4 for the exclusives etc then a headset that might even struggle on a standard PS4 anyhow.

I was considering keeping and not using at all and putting on ebay - but I think ebay has in fact clamped down a bit on anyone selling high demand pre order items on day of release. Or at least I had read that, could be rubbish.

It is a chunk of cash to part with, and also I'm feeling a little guilty as I splashed out on a high end gaming PC few weeks back, can't have it all : - )

I'm not interested in VR full stop. It will mess up my hair.

What specs?

16GB Memory
i5 6600K (only using it for gaming so good enough)
SSD + standard 2TB HD for Steam installs etc
MSI 980 ti 6GB (was going to get a 1070 but got a 980 ti for £100 less then 1070 so went with that in the end)

Corsair water cooler, mechanical keyboard, mouse, memory with NZXT white case, + 650W PSU etc..

Pics of it here..

Seeing as you are asking, and quick chance to show off a little. doesn't stack up against some folks and their beastly machines, but plays all I've thrown at it at 1440p 60fps.

Still keeping the trusty PS4 though, can't play GOW or spiderman etc on PC.. : - )

Anyone here use the xbox one thumbsticks on their DS4, I changed mine over, just over a year ago but the left stick is worn down now, I thought they would last longer.
Anyway I got a new DS4 not even used that I purchased a year or so back, Im just hoping the sticks have the better material than the early DS4's.

I changed the thumbsticks on both my pads and there's no sign of any wear and tear yet. Fingers crossed cause I can't be bothered doing it again.

I do like the pads better with the xbox sticks though, not that there was anything particularly wrong with them to start with.

Anyone else playing Paragon?

Quite enjoying it considering I don't normally like MOBAs, but enjoying the customisation by building your card deck, the classes seem reasonably balanced, and seems to have a decent player report/vote system to deal with bad players.
