Wow, just read that Jack Tretton is leaving due to his contract not being renewed/renegotiated - hes President/CEO of SCEA so thats pretty big news. Came out of the blue!

I didn't have any power going to the pad afterwards though, probably because I raged and the ribbon cable ended up kinking.

You sure you put it in the correct way ? the triggers were a complete pain to re fit, i bent a spring, but managed to sort it, then found clipping the triggers into the motor side with the spring, and forcing the top over worked much easier, the stress levels trying it the other way was very high.

The ribbon has to has to be the correct way also as it wont work the wrong way, mine is all back to gether thank good, as £55 at the mo would mean waiting for a while as our wedding is drawing closer.

Yeah at first I didn't try putting the triggers on the motor side around and that's where it started to go wrong. :p
 
Didn't really like that Zombie game we got. Might be more fun co-op but can't really get to grips with the aiming.

He could have waited until after E3 at least. It won't be the same without him. :mad:

I'm having a nightmare - what if he's going to Microsoft?!

So my eject button has stopped working. No matter how many times I press it the disc won't eject. I have to do it by using the game options and selecting 'Remove Disc'/ Looking at Google seems this a rare hardware fault and it's a case of a doorstep swap.
