I get this message at least every other week with my sandisk extreme ssd. Is this not normal? My external USB SSD became corrupt today for no reason. Once reformatted it’s working fine again and checks out fine on my Pc so looks like it was something with the PS5.
It's because you dont turn your console off properly or use rest mode for too longI get this message at least every other week with my sandisk extreme ssd. Is this not normal?
Is there a chance of hardware damage? I assumed it was a bug, a standby mode is a fundamental feature. It's because you dont turn your console off properly or use rest mode for too long
The only improper way of turning your PS5 off is by flipping the switch at the wall. I note that you dont actually have a PS5 so you're clearly not talking from experience. Got a link for that issue ?It's because you dont turn your console off properly or use rest mode for too long
On this new PS+ tier system if I have 12m of essential on want to just do a month of the premium tier can this be done?
Screw that. I'll just get it from a cheap region. Only £3.30 for the top tier for a month on my Turkish account. No, it'll want you to upgrade the whole 12 months to Premium.
Eh? There's nothing to say rest mode is meant to be time limited. It's because you dont turn your console off properly or use rest mode for too long

Mine is in rest mode all the time when I'm not using it.
I've used rest mode for the last year and never had any corruption so I don't think that's the problem (unless it's specific to one game, and then I'd imagine it would be a big deal as I reckon 99% of console owners will use rest mode).Dont use rest mode and it will stop doing it.
Give over with your crap.Dont use rest mode and it will stop doing it.
That's why he's on my block listGive over with your crap.
I'm only telling the person with issues with his external to stop using reset mode.
