GaaS games make billions of dollars, i'm not sure where you're getting "gaming populace" have you heard of Fortnite?
Yeah. Then play forntnite?

Naughty dog need to concentrate on what they do best. Tailored single player experiences. Let rockstar live off shark card revenues etc.

Naughty dog seem to care more about their player base.

ND have a history of letting their projects balloon in size and scope (Uncharted Lost Legacy being a prime example), a shame that this one evidently couldn't be brought back down to something manageable.
Maybe the head with a head bigger than a planet that does probably little actual managing is the cause of that.

You’d barely get through the first intro mission. Worth a go though to see if you’ll like the style of it or not as it’s not a game for everyone.

I was unsure about BG3 and that’s why I haven’t bought it. I wasn’t convinced the turn based combat would be my cup of tea. On the strength of the 2hr demo I took the plunge.

Really overwhelming game but I’m really enjoying it much more than I thought I would. So much to learn! Plus I can play a bit and put it down and come back to it whenever I like, which makes a big difference to me.

I’d played Divinity OS 2 and couldn’t get on with it, but BG3 is a different proposition. Some of the rolls feel a bit cheap but then I guess that’s the point!

I really like how varied your encounters can be and how you can use the environment and different tactics.

I’m only scratching the surface being 8hrs in, but I reckon I’m in for the long haul.

Divinity wasn’t for me either. I need to get back to BG3 but need to be ready for it. I’ll probably restart it now that I know what’s coming. I dropped it because of Spider-Man 2 and never went back.

Ah, I read it like you’d done over 1000hrs on D4 :p

I’ve had my Xbox one through. 188hrs.

80hrs on Starfield and 47hrs on Atomic Heart and 16hrs on the Witness account for almost all of my Xbox hours this year.

Reckon my PS5 will be 400ish hours.

In the end it was 636hrs on ps5, so a bit more than I thought.

35 games played but most of it was call of duty. Lol. Returnal came 2nd.

Funny thing, my social style is a squad hero (189hrs)……….

I never play in squads ever. I always solo.

All in all, not a bad year of gaming.

Most played game was call of duty, but most enjoyed for me was Returnal. Hopefully there will be a follow up.

Downloaded Division 2 overnight hoping I could use my overpowered character from the PC version, that is connected to my Ubisoft account. Sadly despite being logged into Ubi on the PS5, he is no where to be seen :(
Nope. I had same issue going from Xbox to PS. Same for GTA online. I don’t know why it’s not a thing.
The NY expansion is usually cheap. That’ll get you a new character boost straight to L30 to save the grind. I found there was still a reasonable player base at end game but could barely find anyone online to match make for sub L30 story missions so the grind was doubly difficult.

Yeah since I'm playing GTAV story mode at the moment, I just now thought I'd try online and see if I could try my old PS3 character that was transferred to PC back in the day. Instead I had to make a char from scratch, and got awarded 4mill for doing so...which you immediately have to spend anyway so I doubt I'll bother.

I do miss Division 2 terribly but I'll be buggered if I'm starting all over again and working on the perfect builds!

Your old build has probably been nerfed to death anyway so you'll be grinding for whatever is the new meta. I'm out of touch with it so no idea what they are running now. Plenty people seem to be soloing incursions on youtube though so clearly some good gearsets out there!!

If you purchase the PS5 standalone version of GTA Online you'll be able to do a one time port of your PC character in.

I’ve bought a few cheap sale games over the weekend…it’s hilarious playing Streets of Rage 2 on a 77” Oled… :D

Ride 4 looks amazing!

SEGA® Mega Drive Classics™ (Game) £4.99
Alan Wake Remastered (Game) £8.24
Streets Of Rage 4 (Game) £8.99
RIDE 4 (Game) £8.99
MXGP 2020 - The Official Motocross Videogame (Game) £3.99
WRC 10 FIA World Rally Championship (Game) £9.99
Monster Energy Supercross 5 (Game) £6.74

Anyone tried the Tekken 8 demo? It's the first Tekken game I've played since dark resurrection on PSP. I was obsessed with Tekken as a kid, the first one was one of the first PS1 games I had, and Tekken 3 was my favourite back in the day! this one is so different to what I remember and I'm useless!

It seems like its going to be good though, I'm tempted to get it when it's out and try to learn it all again!
