Nice picture, already ruled a fake.
Good news indeed. Many people said it won't be out this year due to Covid 19, but I was pretty sure it would still be out. At worst stocks might be low.Sony's Jim Ryan: “We are going to launch PS5 this holiday and we're going to launch globally"
Good news, since people were concerned the launch had been pushed back until next year, since Sony removed "Coming 2020" from the PS5 website.

I'd expect a stock shortage either way, the only way to avoid that would be to pre-order
Aye, since my PS4 Pro is about to die I'm all in on Day 1 too.
Not to mention there will be some exclusives available to play by then![]()
I hope you are right. More exclusives that fully support the ssd the better.Don't think we'll be waiting anywhere near that long, it's pretty evident Sony are eschewing fully-functional backwards compatibility and cross-generation releases in favour of PS5-focused titles. They'll be keen for developers to make proper use of all that storage performance if nothing else, it's all they've talked about.
Bodes well for PC gaming all this. Recently picked up a Intel Optane ssd from members market, new games may finally be able allow it to stretch its legsI was reading something about Epic having to rewrite parts of Unreal Engine to keep up with the PS5 SSD. I reckon there will be very few non-Unreal/PS studios games which use the ultra fast speed of the PS5 - we'll be lucky if we get the 2.4GB/sec that the Xbox Series X uses considering a lot of PC users will only be using 0.5GB/sec SATA drives.

It's the opposite. Devs work to the highest setting to make the game, then after spend there time scaling back and compressing to make the games work down the scale.Sony talked about development on the PS5 being so easy (seems lots of other developers agree) and its easy to switch on and switch off the advanced features the PS5 has if the developer wants to use it.
So if a 3rd party developer really wanted to utilise the PS5 SSD they could - but when you're coding for multi-platform I guess you have to code for lowest common denominator.
