Yes, I'm more hoping that a lot of the games I bought for PS4 are going to get PS5 patches. I know BC games may not see any improvements at all except for fixing wobbly frame rates and locking dynamic resolution to the upper limit.

I know I've said this before, but I honestly don't know why you've done this; there's no indication yet that PS4 games will be patched with PS5 enhancements (or if that's even possible) and given Sony's previous history with backwards compatibility and performance enhancements (e.g. base PS4 games on PS4 Pro), I don't think the gains in most titles will be significant.

Of course, it's one of those things where I'm happy to be proved wrong and we may well find out more on Thursday, but I think basic compatibility will be far more likely at this point.

At least we should have faster loading times if they are played from the SSD. :p
 
I wonder if The Last of Us Part II advert is showing the PS5 footage of the game, even though it says "does not represent gameplay" it could mean PS4 gameplay...

Don't get me wrong I don't want to play either of them again it's just your language was very definite considering there is no confirmation :) So I wondered if I'd missed something.

Also "leaks" of the new potter game which is due to be announced at the ps5 demo event.

It siunds quite different to other Harry Potter games, they should just call it: Middle Hogwarts: Shadow of Potter

I'm quite into the lego games and i know they're remaking the star wars ones all into 1 called the skywalker saga. I wonder if that will be a release game as its been delayed and it would make sense to release it on both ps4 and 5 (similar to what happened at the last generation crossover).
