All versions of PS4 supported HDR for streaming and gaming. Only the Pro supported 4k HDR.However, (again iirc) I don't think the series one did at all.

I know, I meant the Xbox at the time didn't do HDR at all.All versions of PS4 supported HDR for streaming and gaming. Only the Pro supported 4k HDR.
Oh right. No it didn't. The One S and X supported HDR10 at launch and later got an update to Dolby Vision support.I know, I meant the Xbox at the time didn't do HDR at all.
Does anyone know if you can turn HDR on/off depending on the game? In the settings on PS5 my options are 'Always on/on if supported/always off' - but I was wondering if I could allocate it on a game specific basis.
i.e. Horizon FW looks great with HDR, I want it default enabled - but The Finals isn't a game I want to use HDR for so I don't want it enabled for this game.
On if supported, then turn it off ingame, most games have HDR toggle somewhere in the settings AFAIK.
Cheers guys. Yeah, I keep it on for all single player games but I find that in multiplayer games it tends to make things a little hard to see at times! I'll check the settings later on The Finals, I'm sure there will be something there. As above - most game have a graphic setting of on/off. Personally I always go for on as I generally only play single player games and they look great on my LG OLED with it on. Not sure about The Finals as I’ve never tried it.
Been on holiday for a week but yeah still playing. The game is awesome.Anyone playing Helldivers 2 still? Just started today with a buddy playing on PC.
Yep, it's great and has been receiving all sorts of new content and changes regularly.Anyone playing Helldivers 2 still? Just started today with a buddy playing on PC.
Basically a Far Cry reskin. It's a alright game, gets a bit monotonous towards the end though. Finally finished both the Star Wars games, really enjoyed those 9/10 for the first 10/10 for the second. What next?
What's the Avatar game like?
Did you get the medals from the major order?Yep, it's great and has been receiving all sorts of new content and changes regularly.
I do want to play a game that really shows the ps5s power though.
Ratchet and clank rift apart or ghosts of Tsushima are probably two good ones. Depends what you want to play really. If you like cars gran turismo 7 is also great. Finally managed to get a PS5 disk edition for £220 off facebook, spent the evening playing cool boarders from 27 years ago so clearly using the power well.

Nah ill pay lolIf you're after something free to show it off, then Fortnite is a decent option. Uses all the bells and whistles of the latest Unreal engine, and some of the outdoor lighting effects (e.g. setting sun shining through trees) are up there as some of the best graphics I've seen.
