So far I'm of the mind that I'm going to skip this generation of consoles, first time I will have done this too unless something really impressive sways me. I have a PS4 but it's barely been used, Bloodborne (my game of this generation) was the only game that really kept pulling me back, aside from that I've not really been interested in any other titles, Ghosts of Tsushima does look looks nice though. I was tempted with an Xbox at one point but the games pass just negates the need for it now.

I'm still tuning in with some excitement though, the rumour of some of the big titles also coming to PC is very appealing. As much as I've been enjoying Pc gaming over the last several years the GPU prices have just grown to extortionate rates, we need a good lineup of consoles to keep things in check.

Also is it just me or has this generation flown by?

This is literally going to be the golden gen of consoles and you’re skipping it? :p

Like I said I'm hoping they knock it out of the park with these new consoles, with some nice new exclusives too, so much so that they will sway me into buying something. I just feel I'm too heavily invested into the Pc at the moment to justify a new console that I may potentially only play a handful of games on again.

I think we will benefit from the series x debacle recently in that it may hopefully push Sony to reveal more actual gameplay.

Geoff knightley tweeted that the event will be "Special"

rumoured to be up to 2 hours long planned, expect lots of details and lots of games
