Amazon UK did a naughty and listed the PS5 pre orders briefly before realizing their mistake.
The pre order price was 599 pounds. They also listed some games (with black covers) before removing them.

It's probably just a placeholder:

A supposed PlayStation 5 console listing has been spotted on Amazon UK, and apparently, someone on hotukdeals was able to push through and place an order. The listing specifically mentions that it's a 2TB model, and the price is £599.

I got 1tb here barely being used. I will go for the cheapest version, as I know as long as it has enough storage for a handful of games I am happy. Why waste the money :)

So it seems it will be £599, zero chance of me pre ordering at that price. Will wait and it will be half price in about 2 years :D
 
I'd be amazed if the lowest spec model is £600. £500, yes, but £600 is just that little bit too much.

But then again, what do I know. I didn't think anyone would pay £1000 for the iPhone X. Credit is so easy to get these days that people will borrow what they need to get what they want.
 
I'm surprised at people being surprised it may cost £600.

It has quite allot of tech, inflation and general tech costs these days are high.

Look at GPU market in PC along with mobile phones now reaching all time high prices it's a given other tech will go up
 
Can’t wait to see what they got planned. Really looking forward to this.

I want see great games, console and price. Hopefully something about PSVR2.

Wife and child have been informed of tonight's event and shall be departing upstairs shortly after 7pm and I will enjoy the evenings festivities in front of the OLED.
