1.3Gb day 1 software update to download. Dualsense also needed an update out of the box. Done all of that and then shutdown, installed the NVME from my old PS5 and turned back on no issues. Now copying the 700GB from the NVME to the internal storage (1.89GB usable fyi). eta 34 mins. Loads of game updates downloading as well, presumably Pro patches.

Indeed. From Reddit, other forums and anecdotal from a couple of friends, it would appear that nobody who ordered from Amazon UK is getting their console today. Being sent today for delivery tomorrow.
I guess that is what you can do when you're the largest UK retailer.......

Moved all my games to the M2, did the data transfer which was 11gb and still took an hour! Just had to relogin to a few PSN accounts and all was back up and running. Can’t see much difference so far, but will keep trying other games!

Wired transfer seems to be working perfectly, need to check but looks like the transfer between consoles is only from the internal M.2 drive and not the 2nd M.2 slot......either that or games are taking up way less space than I expected.

Mine is way quieter than my launch day digital, although the fan in my old one was really bad.

I have 1gbps and have never seen the OG PS5 pull more than 600mb a sec tbh, so I doubt the pro will be different

I just downloaded a load of updates and it seemed to be 500-600 mb a sec as normal.

Seems to be really slow at the moment, don't think it's even pulling 500 Mbps. Space Marine 2 showing 50 minutes to download.

Yeah, that seems to be standard with Amazon. Weird how the largest online UK retailer with depots everywhere (just a few miles down the road in my case) can’t do launch day delivery but other retailers can?

Maybe they’ve been slapped on the wrist by suppliers for sending out orders early in the past so are intentionally delaying them now?
