I had a bit more money than i expected this month so i splashed out for the Dualsense Edge controller to go with it. Received it yesterday. WOW that a nice feeling bit of kit as it should be for the money. Its light years better quality than any of the SCUF products i have seen. That said they were the older ones prior to when Corsair purchased them so i am not sure if the quality and build has been elevated or if they compare.

Ooooh just got my notification. Should be here in an hour or so.

This is slightly disingenuous mind. As it is known the game is CPU bound but in open play it does show ~10% increase in FPS if you watch the video. Agree, it's paltry and I would hope the "enhanced for pro" update provides more than just a bump in FPS.

Which is equally disingenuous. Should really read "enhanced by pro", if in fact nothing has been modified, code-wise, and it's just a simply the extra grunt.

e: in fairness "enhanced for pro" were my words and the tag on the PS pages is "PS5 Pro Enhanced". So eh.

I replied to this yesterday - couple of mates were in the same situation. Neither of them overly-worried, but frustrated.
One of them went for a web chat with Amazon this morning and found himself going around in complete circles with them - they just kept on repeating "Yes, release day today, you get it tomorrow" - as if this has ever been the thing for this kind of release.
He said after the 4th time of typing "Every other UK retailer is getting items out to people today, so why are you the only ones not" and getting the reply "Don't worry, it will be with you by 10:00pm tomorrow" he just switched off :)

I'd be joining in all this if only it had been £100 cheaper (of the optical drive had been included).

Welcome to marketing, PC gamers have been used to it for years "enhanced for PC" is old

Seems quite stable vertically without the stand. Horizontally also fine, with the included plastic feet.

I'm a bit annoyed that they changed the USB A on the front to a (only USB 2.0 speed mind you!) USB C on the front considering the official pulse headset adaptor is USB A.

Either make it faster or leave it alone

Oh - that is an odd decision.
With my PS4 Pro - at one point I had Headset and an external USB drive connected to the back and got nothing but interference and drop-outs to audio until I moved the dongle back to the front.
Hope that isn't still an issue.

it is an issue for me on OG PS5. cutouts etc, sitting only 2m away from it.
