I can understand that. The sheer size of it conveys it MUST be more powerful hardware, right?

Honestly if I had room for both machines I'd keep them both but I've already got 3 series x/s machines plus switch etc in the house (and PCs) so I just can't justify keeping it lol

Haha I guess thats maybe part of it

We are still cavemen under our thousands of years of 'culture' haha

Honestly though I will say the removable panels are so much easier to remove on the pro than the og however. The OG always made me nervous I was going to scratch or damage something as it required a decent bit of force to remove the panels, the new pro by contrast was very easy, almost deceptively so.

That along with the size also shocked me when I came to install the m.2 ssd I'd used with the OG and to add the disc drive.

I really don't like the A stands vs the original mount bracket though. Feels flimsy and very wobbly if you put any weight on the console.

Mate you don't have to remind me, I got my first PS5 in March 2021 (I remember it cause it was first time getting covid jab so I had the PS5 in back of car for half the day haha) and I remember first time going to clean it out and feeling like I was just gonna rip it off, after the first time it became a little easier but yeah those clips hold on very very well

Yep, love the Yakuza games, replayed the older ones through 6 recently and just about to start Judgment before I hit 7 and Ishin haha

Nothing else much like them that I've found.

I finished 0 last year after restarting it about 10 times lol, awesome game and series, goal for this year was to try and crack at least 3-4 of them out but I've been debating playing rest or skipping too 7 so I can play the newer titles first

You'll regret missing all of the former games I think as Kiryu returns after 7, and you'd be missing a lot of context, beyond knowing he's an aging badass from a prior era.

Yeah original version, tbh I loved both versions of PS1 and 2, while the PS3 phat and original PS4 looked awesome when new I still think slim was best version of both of those (excluding pro on 4)
