The Xbox elite 2 controller retails at £142-£160, this controller with the extra gubbins it has i can't see being far short of £200I expect will be around the £109-£129 level. If it comes in sub £100 I would be very surprised. I like the idea of the extra paddles for shooters, sims and rpg style games but I am not sure I would ever bother tweaking anything else, as I usually make any changes I game if I need to. Not that I can afford one.
Pretty much the same as PSVR next year, with the cost of electricity after October, I probably won't even be turning on the console and TV. How about a nice game of chess?

Increasing prices in the UK with inflation going up and energy prices about to become unsustainable for a lot of people makes no sense at all.
It has to unless MS pull the same excuse. I get why it’s being done but they should look at what it does to your competition too. They’re going to lose this war with mistakes like this.

As for "losing the war" - well, I guess if you honestly believe that everyone will now decide that £30 is suddenly going to allow MS to make up the 2:1 sales deficit......

Why not absorb the cost though? Hardware might have to be sold at at a loss but they can make it back from the ridiculous prices on the digital store and PS+ subscriptions.
Sony have always been greedy, they are currently being sued for ripping off their customers.
Because people will still pay it. I know that the cost of living crisis is looming but people are still spending money like its water and a lot of people will only stop when their bank account is in the red every month. They will worry about winter fuel costs etc when their bank account is screaming.
In the USA , by all accounts, retailers getting drops weekly and also a direct preorder queue with Sony.
Outside of USA, not so much. Still can't get one by walking into any shop in Spain. Place are still selling it primarily online with silly long virtual queues!

It will be nearly 2 years since the console has been released, most people outside the USA cant normally. Its crazy, yet comes an price increase on top some retairs already jacking up the price above RRP since release.
