If I want a year worth of ps + extra am I best going somewhere like cdkeys and purchasing £85 worth of giftcards and then applying to my Sony account.

Or should I get a 12 month essential ps plus and upgrade on the console to extra.

Would it work out pretty much the same price wise?

It's cheaper to buy gift cards from Shopto/CDKeys. You could save £5-£10 on £85 I guess. Then pay for the PS+ on the PS Store with the wallet funds.

But... it might only be worth doing it for one month. We are getting close to the time of year when Sony normally does discounts on PS+. I remember getting PS Now 50% off towards the end of October last year. And you need to have no subscriptions active to qualify for these discounts.

I went for the second tier using the Turkish 2nd account method on HUKD. Cost about £20ish per year. Not sure if its still working but worth having a look for the savings.

Good point will get just a month worth for time being then so I can play new cod online and any good exclusives On the extra tier.

PSN credit is usually cheap from AVF, going rate is 80% face you just have to put a want ad up.

This is the best way, 3 years stacked myself, but read that people are having problems if you do not already have a crypto.com card added.

Absolutely not. Maybe depends on context but Silverstone have Japfest for example.

Maybe it's a bit disrespectful to say the Japs instead of the Japanese.

I'm sure there are a number of people with multicoloured hair and they/them pronouns who are trying to make sure it's a slur.

Fair enough, I said Jap rice when eating in a restaurant. I didn't want to end up like scene from Clerks II.

I've gotten open world fatigue, never played God of War but once it got to the giant lake I sort of gave up. In abit of a rut right now, think I'll go back to finishing ME3, still on my first ever playthrough.

I think its in the category of words that the people it describes couldn't care less about it but white people will tell you that is horribly racist and offensive.

Maybe the other side of the pond its more frowned upon because once upon a time there was a lot of anti-Japanese sentiment, not entirely unmerited as well.

The PS VR2 will connect via the USB-C.

You can use that for charging too, I often charge the controller from one and my headset from the other.

Not thrilled about the latest PS5 update forcing you to update the pad firmware.
You can select update later, but it just turns the pad off. I like applying updates when I choose to thanks very much Sony.
