Personally, yes. Extra is the best value as it increases the number of games you can play drastically over the 3 you get each month on Essential.
Agree. I recall upgrading for £21 extra and it’s given me access to a lot more stuff. Currently playing Like a Dragon which I would have purchased initially.
Yep, I've had more than my money's worth already, it's very good value.

Is that how much it costs for upgrading 12 months worth of essential to extra?
I don't think that'll be for a full year for him. It'll be for whatever's left until his renewal is due.

It should just be the difference between the two £83.99 - £49.99 so £34

I want to wait for some cheap 12 month codes then I will apply and upgrade to extra.
I was thinking about getting a month of extra and then applying some cheap 12 month essential codes which would work out at 219days, but that doesn’t seem as good of way.

What about November Black Friday and Christmas period?
I'm certainly expecting them to offer some deals in October/November, perhaps something like giving you Extra for the price of Essential and Premium for the price of Extra.
Finally got a PS5, a few thoughts..
PS Dashboard is still garbage compared to Xbox.
Playstation extra is pretty good, at least on a par with gamepass.
They have absolutely hit it out of the park with the Dual Sense controller - by far and away the best controller ever as far as I'm concerned.
Only played GT7 and Returnal so far, but they are stunning on a LG C2
Can't wait for PSVR2.
Overall very impressed and very happy.

I much prefer the ps5 UI over the xbox one myself.
The PS4 UI was better in my opinion. They have seem to addeed sht no one wanted.
