I actually would've thought it'd be higher. Although it'll be a bit off anyway as I spent a fair while playing through all the Ratchet & Clanks on PS3 a few months ago, so those won't have counted.

Insurgency Sandstorm that one has slipped past me! Decent?

Yeah I like it. My mate and I grabbed it earlier this year after abandoning the disappointment that was BF2042 and it's the closest thing to a solid, realistic tactical shooter you'll find on console. Visuals are nothing special but they're decent enough, there's a good variety of maps and they're mostly well-designed. Good selection of weapons and attachments and it gets decent updates every so often which have added extra maps or weapons. If you're lucky enough to land on a server with people who want to take it seriously and communicate properly it can be really good, but usually I mute everyone else!

Nice one cheers. I see it’s 50% off right now as well. Might just bite. Watched a bit of jackfrags on YouTube just now and it looks pretty decent. I got burnt by 2042 as well though I liked it initially. Mainly because it was busy and mad. Didn’t last long.

It's got two modes, co-up with other players against bots or PvP against other players. The bot AI isn't brilliant but it's not terrible and the stakes are raised by how authentic it is and how quick the TTK is vs the pace of the game which is a bit slower and more tactical, and if nothing else it's a good way to get used to the controls and how the game works.

I'll probably give BF a revisit in the new year once the update with the class system arrives, feel like I owe it another go just to try and get my money's worth. But I know what you mean, it was chaotic and not in the usual BF way. Those ridiculously quick armoured vehicles that would just appear out of nowhere and annihilate you were the worst part for me, they were utterly frustrating to deal with when most of the anti-vehicle weapons are so useless.

I bought it so I’ll have a go against the bots to get the gist thanks.

I’m thinking the same on 2042 I’ve not totally given up on it yet. Be interesting to see what they’ve been up to I’ve not played it since February or there abouts.

111 hours of Hell Let Loose, second place was GT7 with 99 hours - but I sold that in the end, as it got boring and was evidently far too much of a grind.

Slipped and fell onto my KB and accidentally bought a PS5, less than a month after my imaginary cat trampled on the very same keyboard, resulting in an XSX.
Might need an excuse for the PSVR2 too depending on game support.

Ordered GT7, TLOU Pt1 (PS5) and Pt2 (PS4). There was a few others i considered, but many of them are on the PS+ Game Catalogue, like Spidey, GOW, Uncharted
I was tempted to get GOW:R but i got all excited for GOW3 years back and barely touched it. PS+ will at least let me try the previous release and move to Rag if i enjoy it as much as everyone seems to.

Is PS+ 'Extra' the sweet spot, or does 'Premium' offer the odd bonus that isnt listed? Cant see the value added in it tbh.
In the list of premiums 'classic catalogue', im guessing they're the titles from their original release, ie Motorstorm = PS3, and then ones with PS1/PS5 are remastered? And all streamed to the console or PC?

Thx

I wouldn't bother with Premium. I signed up for that tier and never use any of the 'premium' stuff. When it runs out next year, I'll be dropping down to the Extra tier

All the old games are streamed and I found the latency pretty bad, and that's with a hardwired PS5 and gigabit Internet.

I can say pretty much the same. I have tried a few older games but the streaming was proper janky. I just accepted that is was because I have a rubbish 38Mbps connection, so hearing of your experience definitely makes me think I will downgrade next year.

Extra is great, there's a really good selection of big games and smaller indies on there. I think Premium would only be worth it if you're feeling particularly nostalgic or had missed out on a couple of generations' worth of games given most of the remasters/remakes are in Premium rather than Extra. even so, there's enough on Extra to keep you occupied plus the monthly PS+ games for all tiers as usual.
