I installed a Gigabyte Aorus 7000s (2TB) back in August 2021 - so I think it has had a revision change since then.
However, mine was giving me 6657 MB/s - I think the PS5 is just not giving an accurate reading however.
So long as it is over that minimum specification, all will be well.

Yeah I have read the PS5 can be a bit hit and miss with speed readings. I also read that generally the 2TB Aorus drives are recognised by the PS5 as having higher read speeds than the 1TB versions, even though they are about the same on paper.

I don’t have any complaints so far. All seems to be working just as well as the OEM internal PS5 drive.

Will post an update if it fails or I run into trouble.

So I recently took delivery of a Steelseries Arctis 6P as mentioned a few posts above.

The only thing that did annoy was the USB-C dongle being being a fatty and obscuring the front USB-A port. Poor design imo.

Not a major deal breaker as I had hoped to get a USB-A to C adaptor that would enable be to plug the dongle into the rear USB-A ports.

Unfortunately the dongle when plugged into the adaptor doesn’t work on the two rear console USB-A ports. It does however work in the front USB-A port (defeats the point of all this) so I am a bit baffled.

Might as well use the dongle on the usb-c port as intended even if it does look ugly.

I have the exact same headset for my PS5 and have the same frustrations. Whenever I want to charge my controller I end up having to crawl round the back to find one of the rear USB ports for the controller cable vs. just being able to use the one on the front!

You cannot possibly be playing 4.6ish TB worth of games at any one time :p

Nonetheless, all the information is here:
ha My son does the same, he has like 6 terabits of games stacked on drives,

I have just internal storage with like 3 games at a time, two of them PUBG and Warzone are permanent, the other is whatever I can scrounge off him as he buys them all, he has like 400 PS4 and 5 games on disc.

Suppose thats what you can do when you work but Mum insists on keeping him dig free.

Has anyone modded their controller?

is it worth it?

I'm new to PS5 gaming, so a controller is a far way away from keyboard and mouse.

Still enjoy PUBG but having a real hard time hitting anything with a controller compared to the keyboard and mouse.

Looking for ways to make it easier without cheating of course, cant stand cheats but there is obviously ways as I have been killed by some dodgy shots where deathcam clearly shows the crosshair snapping to my head. I report and move on but wont hold my breath.

I was looking at the scuff controller too, but holy **** £over 200 quid wtf, is it worth it?

Yes, I have one of them, love it, fiddly to fit but great after.

Just to elaborate, I don't think it made me a better player; or it has but it's difficult to notice. It's more comfortable of having crouch/prone and jump on triggers. Before I just had the right analogue stick as jump, it was then awkward to crouch.

And yeah I refuse to spend £200+ Scuf or the 'elite' controller.

I see Last of Us part 2 is on sale for like £9 im tempted.

I paid the same the last time it was on sale last year. The game is fantastic, I think all the rap it got on certain things in the story is very silly, and everyone just jumped on the band wagon.
Its one hell of a ride, (long one) but well worth it!
Its on par with part 1 for me. I enjoyed it more in some cases.

I was absolutely exhausted by the end, but yes, cracking game. One of the best and most ambitious I’ve played.

Picked up a PS5 with God of War bundle today. Looking on the store and Ghost of Tsushima aid 50% off…is it worth a buy?

Lots of people seem to enjoy GoT but I personally thought the combat mechanics were a bit lacking and the open world felt a bit staid.

I'd recommend trying Returnal if you have a PS5. It's awesome! Probably cheapest to buy it as a physical copy or sign up for the PS PLUS extra sub for a month as it's not on sale.

Resident Evil Village is worth a play for the current £17 sale price IMO
