Think PSN is down atm. Left two downloads running overnight only to see their status saying ‘calculating’. So

I disconnected from my wifi and tried reconnecting but the console just timed out connecting to PSN.

They released new terms on the last update. I think you need to accept them and log in to PSN after that. My console kicked me offline after applying the update and reconnected as soon as I accepted the new terms of service.

I should note the terms only appeared when I went to the PSN settings on the console and tried to log in manually.

Same here. Couldn’t log in to the app nor the console until I had agreed to the new terms.

Go into account on console and you’ll see it there.

Just got home and no change.

In Accounts all I see there is a progress bar and it’s not moved in 10mins.

I tried going to manual update and search for an update but it just timed out. Sonys BS status shows things are all ok but I don’t believe any of the official ones as it said everything was fine this morning when it clearly wasn’t.

Reddit has still has folks with this issue.

Edit: Ended up plugging my PC's LAN cable into the PS5 and it still couldn't see PSN. Rebooted the console with the cable still attached and it could. Disconnected it and Wifi could connect. Can't even make sense of this but everythings ok.

Have they sorted the stick drift in the v2 versions of the DualSense controller?

I've had no luck with v1 versions, with 3 developing major drift after 1-6 months.

Allegedly it's been sorted but I I've only had a PS5 for three months now, all I can say is the controllers I have, the stock white v2 and the camo one, haven't developed any stick drift so far.

I must be lucky. Still using my original controller from Dec 2020 and haven't noticed any stick drift

My release day controller still good.
Mine for drift after about 15 months. Luckily I got it from Amazon so they just refunded the amount of a new one.

Age doesn't really matter someone with a day one controller might play 1 hour a day someone with a year old one might play 10 hours a day.

I’ve used mine for 1000’s of hours since launch and I get a bit of drift from time to time. A clean fixes it fine. Same with the joycons just seems to be a build up of dust.
