I think the biggest news from the beta is that we'll be able to disable the start up beep!

I won't have to worry about waking up my daughter every time I want to fire up the PS5 when she's napping.

I did it the other day as well and knocked £20 off Like a Dragon Ishin! Which was also on sale. Got it for around £12 so pretty chuffed with that for a recent release. The scheme is good!

That's mad that you've gone through 4, are Sony not honouring repair or replacement?

Sorry, just double checked my numbers - it’s 3 I’ve lost to stick drift not 4.

Truthfully, I’ve been too lazy to mess about with warranty repairs / replacements. Just easier to buy a new one. After my day 1 pad I bought 1 new and 2 from this forum. The most recent forum purchase was a black version in April 22 and has lasted longest but now has drift :(

Due to the drift issues I’ve also bought an Edge so I can replace the sticks. Battery life is terrible on the Edge though but it does seem to recharge pretty quickly.

Won a set of Artic 7P+ headphones for 50 quid on the bay, only missing the charging cable (not a problem) and two slight rub marks, which I won't see when they're on my head :D

Only had 5 minutes of Hell Let Loose, but my god the comfort! And the sound blows the Thresher 7.1s out the water! The 'surround' sound aspect is a little jarring on the 7Ps, a noticeable shift when position changes, which the Threshers didn't have - but I'll get used to it in time.

Happy days!

Great deal!

I think there's a fair few of us who have the 7P/7P+ on here and the comfort is for sure one of the best things about them.

Comfort and battery life on the 7P+ is just awesome. Keep forgetting I have the things on.

I have a set of Beyerdynamic DT 770 pros. Pretty comfy. Replaceable pads and head band wrap too. Nothing fancy but nice sound stage.

I have a mod mic attached for the super rare occasions I speak to anyone online :p

Nothing fancy, just about some of the best monitoring headphones for music making in this price range:p

You could probably pick something less neutral for gaming/media but at least they'll be fairly accurate:p

Also, they're much better than any Arctis or similar stuff when it comes to sheer sound quality as Beyerdynamic is an actual audio company, and a well-respected one at that. You don't get many bells and whistles but what you do get is great.

Loving that you can configure EQ settings via the PC app, then try out new settings on the PS5
