Read some pretty poor reviews for this, so whats it like? Graphics really that bad? I'm with skippi in that I dont wanna buy it because I have infamous and by the sounds of it so far, protoype is a not quite so good version of that
 
been playing this a few hours now and really liking it. love free roam games :D
i have both infamous and prototype now, yes prototypes graphics isn't as good but I'm loving the destructiveness and choice of weapons , lots of unlocks to get, looking forward to hijacking some vehicles ;)

I also have both (although just sold inFamous) and I have to say they are very different games. Both fun in a different way, Prototype so far seems to have a lot more melee combat and throwing cars at choppers etc and the gore is pretty cool :D

I've not seen any sign of bad graphics, the cutscenes are great, the animations are great the draw distance is fine (PS3 version) and so is framerate so far. No problem seeing the 'orbs' either. Been a while since I trusted IGN reviews to be fair.

I'd give it a thumbs up, certainly if inFamous appeals, this will too. No reason for you not to try both!
 
I will be buying both of these games, as you dont get games as good as these very often, as I like these kinds of games, they just interest me and hold my interest a lot more than most, so I cant resisit having them both, comparing them and also completing them and seeing how good they get from the start to the very end :D
 
I hope that this is only for the USA owners, and not the European gamers like us, as it will tick a lot of people off having to uninstall 700mb of items just so it goes through. Luckily I am ordering the PC version of the game, so this issue should not effect me anyway, thankfully :D
 
I should be receiving my copy through the 1st class post today, im hoping it can just be posted through the letter box, otherwise it will be a wait until the weekend for me to go and pick up the package
 
I've been playing this all morning and I have to say I'm really enjoying it, the feeling of power and total destruction you can wreak is insane and there are just so many moves and abilities to unlock, running around throwing cars at people disguised as a little old woman has never been so much fun :p
 
Yes exactly! What a good excuse to spend the weekend at home and play this amazing game! I just hope its on my doormat when I get in today, otherwise I will have to wait until tomorrow :(
 
Got this today and am enjoying it.
Having recently played Hulk: Ultimate Destruction again, this borrows very heavily from it, doesn't make it any less of a game as Hulk:UD is fantastic.
