I cant get on the EU motorstorm servers, but the Oz ones are fine. Using a PAL copy on my US machine, but it was apparently working for people the other day. Suspect it's some server downtime seeing as the Oz one works.

Anybody downloaded the warhawk trailer from the japan PS store? Had a look looks like it could be a lot of fun. Kinda Battlefield for the PS3 i guess, but seems to have a lot more going on. Not sure exactly how many units are on at a time but it seems to be quite a lot. Graphics dont look that great though but still should be fun.

Yea iv just downloaded this, Your right the graphics dont look that great but my god do the battles look good

cant wait for this game!

I got the feeling Warhawk will be slated by critics but be one fun game to play! No single player, graphics average etc. Seems like it has a similar stats system to BF2, but its "only" 32 player online, and it seems you can design your own soldier with body types and decals etc. Im quite interested in how the sixaxis will work with it as it used to control the aircraft, could be fun could be dog poo!

Im disappointed war hawk is going download.

On other note, it is good to see the forum alive with various ps3 related thread and finall, things getting into genesis of full swing. :cool:

Ps3 surpasses the 3 million mark

Upon the European launch, we wrote up an article about the "before" sales of the PlayStation 3 and let you guys guess where the numbers would land, given another week. Well, we had a very professional brain fart (in the form of multiple tests, group presentations, and an annoying large paper) and decided to let the "after" post come... today. What did we find? Good stuff.

At least, according to VGCharts, the PlayStation 3 has surpassed the 3 million mark. What's neat, too, according to the same chart, is that the PS3 has sold more in Europe in the course of two weekends than it has sold in Japan in four months! We've got more good PS3 sales news as the day progresses, but it almost seems like a slow news day right now. When do you guys think the PS3 will break 4 million, now that things will slow down?

The future might look bright is this is true.

Been playing it today, really a fantastic game online. Absolutely buries the single-player disappointment.

You never know who's been paid off hahaha - but as ou said if the 3 million mark has been surpassed thats great news.

Surprising "little old Europe" has outsold Japan so quickly - maybe PS5 will be released in Europe first (ok so thats never going to happen but hey ho)

Sony won't learn their lesson.
They should supply to us first, or at the same time. Time and time again we back them with sales, come PSP2/PS4 we will be last in line again.

Last night I installed my PS3, it cannected to my wireless router fine, downloaded the 1.60 update, installed that and ever since then I get an error when connecting to the store or web.

It works fine if I disable WPA and the Firewall but as soon as I enable them I get the error.

Has anyone else had problems with a wireless router with WPA and the PS3 ???

I had an absolute 'mare getting mine to work, but that was with 1.54 (US machine). I found setting the encryption to WPA-PSK and generally faffing around for 8 hours got it working ! What router do you have?
