*** The Official Rugby World Cup 2015 Thread ***

One More Solo, I suspect that this time that is what the RFU will do, unless they bottle it and go with Mallinder, I suspect the new coach will be one who has already coached International teams if not to a world cup win then at least the final (It's obvious who they are ;) )

**Edit** Oh and Luggs, perhaps the new coach might actually realise that Wade and Daly really should be playing for the 1st XV ;)

Hmmm, well now you go and mention it mate... :D

And yet again, Sir Clive has summarised things far better than I could ever hope to;

"It is so wrong that Lancaster alone seems to have been responsible for England's failure," said Woodward in the Daily Mail.

"Those responsible for his appointment, and who have backed him and been happy to reap praise in the good times, should be looking in the mirror today and feeling very uncomfortable over what has happened."

Looks like the RFU is closing in on Eddie Jones, I'll be quite chuffed if he gets the job and will also mean there's a good chance that an Englishman in the form of Steve Borthwick would be forwards coach as well :D

Eddie Jones has been a confirmed as England's new coach :D

Exciting times ahead for English Rugby, genuinely feeling hopeful now!

I'll just put this here ;) Post 332, I posted it it on the 3rd October :p

I'll call the big one now and you've heard it here first (as my prophesies have been on fire tonight :p) Iain Ritchie is on the phone right now to the Stormers and is negotiating the extraction fee for Eddie Jones ;)

I think it's a great appointment.

However, the problem with English Rugby is exactly the same as it is with the Football team. We don't teach people how to play skillfully, or to think "outside the box" so to speak.

I'm happy with the appointment, just wish Ritchie had gone with Lancaster... Jones has the experience and sees' his role to be inclusive of handing the mantle to an Englishman at the end of his tenure. Hopefully with a fresh, open mind he will bring, he will recognise the awesome talent overlooked at some top premier teams... ;)
