I think most top coaches have worked out his systems now and that's the problem and why I think Gatland took Farrell for the Lions and not Edwards. I really would like a whole coaching setup drawn from the Southern Hemisphere to clear out the cobwebs from the RFU and develop a more dynamic and skills based focus.

Yeah, I've been over to the Ricoh a few times now, it does seem to have been good for Wasps as they just look so much more confident as a team now (and I still think Joe Simpson should have been England's third scrum half for the World Cup squad. Looking forward to seeing George Smith strut his stuff there this season, he was a great signing.

Ford has stated that Burgess will stay in Union, which I'm pleased about, he really wasn't given a fair crack of the whip and blamed by far to many fat old ex-players for England's Woes.

He now has a chance to get his head down and get some game time at 6 which I think given time is a position he will excel in and hopefully under new England leadership he will be utilised properly.

That's exactly my thinking mate, sure, get some English understudies to learn from the best, but the best are going to be mostly southern hemisphere coaches. It seems every other team except England have moved on to a new dynamic style of playing

Good man, I have not made it up to the Ricoh yet, but saw them many times at Wycombe. Yeah, I really don't know what else Joe needs to do to get a look in the England squad...

I was just reading that this morning, imho he was actually one of the better players in the games he was involved in. Really do not understand the criticism he received. Typical English scapegoat mentality. I hope he stays at Bath and will hopefully get a crack in the next world cup under a better coaching and management team!
