For those that ordered through Samsung directly, do we receive the phone on the 24th?

My Note 7 , 8 from Samsung both got dispatched day before release for delivery on release day by UK Mail

Brilliant, thanks. Might need to work from home then. Did you receive an email notifying you of its status? I did a credit agreement so the only thing I have so far relates to that and not Samsung/phone delivery.

Edit - never mind. Missed the email from Samsung saying they will update accordingly.

I got a dispatch email then a drop number and time slot via text/email around 08:30ish on release day

Has anyone any idea if the CPW note 9's are dual SIM?

some people on XDA have said they were told yes dual sim others say they've been told only single sim ... good old CPW

Is there any reason why they don't just make all of them dual sim models

As with the dual sim models you can choose to have 2 sims cards or 1 sim card + micro SD card

Rumours been banded about are the UK carriers don't like them or have not moved with the times yet

As someone said earlier, that case offer is decent. For 99p it's even better .

Just had another email from Samsung prepping the order.

Reviews seems to suggest a good-very good battery life but not class leading. I reckon with my usual power management (Package Disabler, Greenify etc), should hopefully manage a full day of heavy use. I can get 5-7 SoT with my Note on a good day.

Mines been sat at "preparing dispatch" since day after I ordered (10/08)

last few years it has been UK Mail but some who have contacted Samsung are now been told it is DPD

I didn't get my Samsung tracking until 18:15 day before delivery

This always worries me lol

I've had my s8+ since launch day and it's in pristine condition. Not a mark on it and I dread this scenario once i know its going, either via trade in or private sale.

Like me 2 weeks ago dropped my Note 8 S pen stood on it and snapped in 1/2 .. had a nightmare getting a replacement

Just got my dispatch email from Samsung delivery 24th by DPD

just put a note 9 in the basket on the Samsung website and it says
Pre-Order: Ships: 07 Sep 2018

I thought it was meant to be 24 august

1st two batches are sold out last week it said 31st August then swapped to few days later 7th Sept

Just got my Samsung return envelope thru post too
