****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II ACCESSORIES Thread***

Like 15 quid!

Madness;)

There are some guys that are spending £25+ in an effort to find the "perfect" protector, as well as some muggins who pay 15 quid for one and then screw up the installation. Cost is all relative to the worth of what you're buying, and some of these expensive screen protectors are pretty bad in that department imo.

Even the Martin Fields and other pricey ones are getting moaned about on XDA due to fingerprints/grease.

I got one free with my case earlier in the thread. Apart from being a newb and making a fingerprint on the top left corner sticky side, it's very good. No bubbles.

Not sure of the name, don't have the packaging with me at my house. :p

I did a quick video of the Zenis dock, gives a better showing of the attach<>detach of the phone than the pictures before.

Link to dock in description :)

iirc it's about £10 and was from gmarket which has now stopped selling it for unknown reason and unknown amount of time.

thanks for the video khan seems like a great low cost dock. would be even better if they did one with LED lights to make it glow

If anyone is lookin for some cheap screen protectors, these are the ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....29112&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_1511wt_1139 they fit perfect and are cheap :D

Thanks, I think I'm going to order those today. Do these screen protectors affect the touch sensitivity of the screen?

Also, if I order one of these cases, does anyone think it'll fit while I also have the gel case fitted to the phone? The idea being that the front, sides and back will all be protected from drops.

The official dock will not sync when charging, worth noting for people expecting it to be able to connect it as USB storage and charge at the same time at their desks.

It's also not very nice looking!

For those who are interested I have taken a couple of bad pictures of my phone with the EXiM SPUC protector on it. It went on easily and the only bubble is near the camera. The film felt quite grippy but after a week or so of use, it has smoothed out nicely. Not quite as smooth as bare glass but slick enough. It does show fingerprints, especially in direct light, but grease is easy to wipe off and the clarity is very good indoors. I dare say there are better protectors these days but I got two for less than £10 and they arrived via airmail in about a week.

I've just finished installing my SGP Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic and it seems to be absolutely perfect. It's just as clear as the Brando Ultra Clear but without the greasy smudges, it just stays clear! I've read recently on xda that some people are finding their anti-fingerprint finish is wearing off after a few months so I'll have to see how it goes, but for now this seems like the best choice imo.
