[update] So I restarted my phone because it was taking too long (dangerous I know) and it booted to my old image (none of the apps installed except CWM and the basic samsung apps).

I loaded CWM and used that to restore my backup and I swear its an older version to the one I get when I press the on button and the volume up key.

Is it even possible to have two different versions like that?

You were restoring a backup after trying out hydrogen right?

If so you're the 3rd person after Mrk and I who had the problem of the restore just stalling after trying that rom.

As for usb not working , if I ever get that I use swiftp of the market and use an ftp client to upload stuff onto the phone providing of course wireless is working .

1.0 is Westcrip's ROM, 9.6 is Wanam's ROM. Different ROMs/Devs :p

I know when I've rolled between ICS and Checkrom I've had to flash Checkrom and then been into CWM and restore my backup as I couldn't do it directly from ICS recovery.

On a side note, ICS LP7 is definately getting there, I almost stayed on it but I miss the JKay toggle mods too much, I like having data, sync and flashlight in there for night use and I really don't see a need for a rotation toggle.. :)

If you still want the toggles i'm using the files from this thread with stock deodexed LP7 and I have the 15 or so toggles so I can vouch that it works

Damn you I just put my Checkrom V6 back on and now I'm going to have to try it all again with that mod :D

What is the code to check your flash count, I'm curious now :o

I have no idea I don't use Facebook, Have you tried setting the sync up in Facebook & then restarting the phone?

I saw on XDA that people were using another app to sync the pictures etc that is why I suggested it.

Facebook/ICS sync currently donesn't work , there's no way of syncing at the moment. Haxsync is the app you're looking for, I gave it a try but it wasn't for me.

Typical - I download and flash to WanamLite V9.6 last night, and today V9.7 & V9.8 are released!

At least as that is a good thing, as I am still suffering with occasional freeezes since flashing V9.6.

Has anyone tried the newly released V9.7 & V9.8 yet? If so - which one should I go for now?

Since Samsung kernel sources were used with CM9, my battery life has almost doubled, no exaggeration! I'm a light user so I guess that means it's more efficient when sleeping.
