***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Okay, the 64GB SDXC cards are in 2 variants, the UI version (little U I logo on the bottom left of the card) and the standard SDXC version which has no logo there.
Both look the same apart from that little logo on the lower left. The non U I version appears to be class 10 whereas the other is class 4/6. The class 4/6 is in stock on a lot of sites and strangely a bit more expensive...

The UI version is the one that has yet to be released and some sites are showing pictures of the UI version when they're actually selling the non UI version (confusing much? :p).

I think I will just buy the non UI logo version as Sandisk class 4 cards are a lot faster than class 4 anyway (already have some mobile ultra cards that perform above class 6). But will wait until a bit later today because if Play's blue S3 is delayed and it is 2~ weeks then waiting for the UI version of the card makes sense.

Plenty of places have it in stock, saverstore being one of them.
 
On the phone to Play now... the normal Customer Services Reps don't know anything more than what the website tells us. I am on hold whilst he calls Head Office to get more information.

/Edit: Right, apparently there is no news of delay. Jo from Head Office will call me later on this afternoon to confirm.

I did the same yesterday, they weren't able to find out anything else. Hopefully you'll have more luck today.
 
Just got the 64gb San Disk delayed by P lay. Cancelled it now and bought it from the rainforest. Luckily it was the same price and with Prime I should get it tomorrow.

I hope my S3 comes tomorrow as well. There must be some handsets coming today for sale tomorrow. Sadly I only preordered after the unveiling. :(

edit: not the same price. sorry. a fiver more but at least I'll get it tomorrow.

Yup, just gonna cancel for now and see how it pans out.

If its been a recall of stock and they have to open, fix and repack every one i can see it being couple of weeks before decent Blue stock levels are reached

Has to go down as a botched release now for Samsung
