***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

If real, it's a crap quality photo so I reserve judgement until better photos and also the phone belonging to someone who has some taste in good wallpaper :p

outer edge is like the 2X

The bezel on this phone is also enormous. "Edge to edge" screen this is not. Phone Arena is speculating that the smartphone may be the rumored Galaxy B, in which case we're sorry for putting you through yet another "leak." If this is what Samsung is pumping out these days, why not just roll over and let Apple have its way.

That bezel is horrendous.

Samsung's design has really got to be spot on with this phone, no more 'love it' or 'hate it', everyone has to find it at the very least acceptable.

I just can't see a 4.8" screen either, that would be too much for many people. I know HTC have done it but they've at least got a smaller option too that is similar.

I'm hoping for something totally different, all of the leaks so far don't have me convinced.

That is the prototype device, if you look at the bezel it has an extra black casing. Samsung send out prototype devices with different colour bezels so they know if there are any leaked photos where the leak came from.

Also the prototype devices don't have the final bezel for the very reason of potential leaks. The OS is usual quite a few versions behind as it doesn't get updates once shipped from Korea.

So someone somewhere is in for a good talking to from Samsung then :p

They’re getting to the limits of rectangular design. A crinkle chip edge or a circular design might do something to the market. :p I suspect we won’t be seeing anything revolutionary and it will be something quite boring.

So is their going to be some sort of event by Samsung today? or is just rumours? I am going to get the Samsung Galaxy Note tomorrow but won't if the S3 is announced today :/

honestly i think people are expecting too much this time.. it wont be as big of a jump from s2 to s3 as it was from s to s2.. :O honestly the performance difference could be felt between the s/s2 but now when s2 runs everything without a problem the point of "upgrading" is very little.. the only bits id like is display and camera(even tho im very happy with the one in s2)
