I'll check when I get home but the S3 out the box didn't have the latest Flash Player so make sure yours is up to date on the one you compared with.

I have played Youtube HD on the desktop website at 1080p and found no problems at all.

I've got the latest on mine.
 
I forgot my micro sim and couldn't be bothered to cut one. :p So just popped out and got one with some adapters. It's far easier. :D

How do you get the iplayer in HD, I'm trying it on my S3 now and it's definitely not in HD, it is smooth though

i can play the full 1080p from the desktop youtube on my s2 on a custom rom great, just tried desktop youtube some trailers at 1080p all fine and smooth,

annoying that s3 doesnt seem to play the bbc iplayer hd when the htc one x can very smooth, i got latest flash player 11

goto bbc iplayer site, and click menu and select desktop view,

the mobile site works fine but can tell quality aint great, goto the desktop site, example play eastenders , and click the watch in HD
 
It is Three's fault entirely, even after confirming our address with them 3 times they missed a line of our address off :rolleyes: hence why it went where it went.
It had the correct postcode, I would have thought the delivery guy would have worked it out to be honest especially if using sat nav.

3 and the courier they use are both useless!

I had the correct address on mine, last time I was with 3. Here's my story.

Was told phone was dispatched and arriving on Thursday. Gf home all day. Online tracking showed delivered at 4.03pm.

Got home, no phone. Go to check with both neighbours, just in case. No phone.

Gf says she was in all day.

Rang three and asked who had signed for it. They said "Evan" had. "Evan who?" They said, no surname, just Evan so I should speak with Evan who lives with me!

I said I don;t have anybody called Evan living with me and I don't know an Evan. I ask to check the address.

They said they delivered it to an address in Newcastle as I had requested them to and I should go get my phone from Evan. (I live 40 miles away from Newcastle!)

They had the right house name, street, village and postcode and everything was correct for me but they were saying Newcastle as that was the region I lived in.

2 hours later I had convenced them I didn't have the phone and I didn;t know where it was and they would block it and send another one out Friday which I then got Monday.

Roll on two weeks later and a knock at the door and Dr Alex Evans was there with a parcel which had been delivered to his house in the next village!

So the courier delivered it to the wrong name, house, street and a village 2 miles away!

Mine was DPD who in fairness in the past have been faultless.
I did wonder if its the same driver who last time he delivered to us got a shock as one of our dobes got out and chased him down the pathway.
Maybe it was payback for that ?
 
I just checked my pre-order for the blue one on play, they have changed it to the white without me asking for it :mad: I have messaged them to get it changed back.

Anyone who has pre-ordered the blue from play check your account!
 
I really don't know what was more frustrating.
Waiting for it to be delivered or it sat here in front of me and not being able to use it fully.
48 hours to go :( and that's if Three manage to reactivate it without any hiccups.
Also got to get my old number transferred over yet, think I will wait until the phone is up and running before I attempt that hurdle.
 
I reserved white one with CPW for pickup today, when I called they had no record of the transaction (even though i've got the email with order number) they've stopped selling sim free in store now so I can't even get one that way.

Saw online with CPW it was in stock so did everything checked out ect, got the email and order number through, so decided to check again by phoning them, and nothing on their system so it hasn't gone through!

The sales guy did it manually with me on the phone and said they have stock 551 units to be precise left, he said it is depleting at around 50 units every 10 mins!!

Anyway order has been processed and should be with me tomorrow, third time lucky I hope!!
 
Just got off the phone, was fuming but Punnit is saying that they ran out of stock so yesterday loads that were to be dispatched were not but they got stocks in lastnight and they are sending them out today and mine is to be dispatched. He'll txt me tracking details. Told him if it's not dispatched today I want it cancelled and will never use CPWH again...

Any joy yet ?
