To all CPW orders with free Tab's, i need some help

Now i was one of the lucky ones(well unless i get screwed) to be part of the first 1000 orders, and because i decided to stick with blue s3 i'm still waiting of course.

For those with white s3's and choose collect at store, did u
a) get tab whilst collecting s3
or
b) are still waiting for tab, as a seperate parcel delivered to home address before 5th june?

Now i'm guessing that those who did NOT choose collect from store option are waiting/have received there parcel.

I ask this because i'm getting hell loads of different answers from CPW staff in store, CPW staff on phone and looking at this post qouted above.

nrenz123 i'm guessing looking at your post you collected the whole lot from CPW store?
Which is contrary to what i'm been told (half the time), btw i also did collect from store option.

i guess i'm being paranoid but i don't want to collect my blue s3 (could be a while i know!) without tab, then wait for parcel with tab that never arrives, which then leaves me with no tab becuase CPW said i didn't collect it from store so they say you lose out.

I collected my white S3 at store, the tab and all the accessories were all in one parcel.

From speaking to customer services when i had a few issues with my order, the tab is added on by the customer loyalty team.

I was given an order number for both the tab and the phone, but even though customer services said the tab would come to my home address as a seperate parcel it was in the parcel with the phone in store.

I was given two tracking numbers aswell, the one for the tablet is still awaiting collection even though i have it. so either they have messed up somewhere or they are sending me two tabs (hopes).

Chances of picking up a sim free handset in a store today?...

Extremely unlikely. All stores in Sheffield and Rotherham have said they have no physical stock, and everything needs to be ordered online.

Video I took last night trying out the phones video camera in the dark.

Wow, im amazed how claer and non-grainy the video quality is (namely the blacks) considering the club is in pretty much near total darkness, and only broken by the lighting!

Yeah I meant to say Sim Free. I've ordered from CPW, and will just leave my order with them, they say they've got stock so it should be with me by wednesday/thursday. I'm working everyday until then, so it's all good.

Has anyone moved from an iPhone 4/4S to one of these?

I'm looking for a new phone at some point, the only other option than a new iPhone (whenever it's released) that I would consider is this. Although I've never been that keen on how Android works, the specs and performance of this look very impressive.

It depends really, if you don't like Android this ultimately won't change your mind on the software side of things.

Why not get one, see how you get on with it, then when the new iPhone is out you can just upgrade to that if you don't like it?

Yeah, I was considering that. Does the resale value of a high-end Android phone stay reasonable? I might find it fantastic, as admittedly the last Android experience I had was on an older version and one of the cheaper HTC handsets.

Would the sim that I currently have for my iPhone 4 fit straight into this, for some reason I can't nail down 100% answer from Google and am confused as to the different sizes of micro-sim (if there are different sizes, I'm sure I saw some pics of ones that looked slightly different to each other).

Generally not to the extent an iPhone would, but if you pay £500~ for it now, you'd probably be able to sell it for £350 in a few months at least.

I'm doing exactly this, o2 are giving me £403.50 for my iphone 4s now, i'll get one of these play with it for a few months then maybe get the iphone 5 (or maybe not)

Chatting to my neighbor yesterday, she mentioned when her daughter got a new phone, the delivery driver could not find their address so he dropped it off at some random house around the corner
Luckily the people who had the phone were honest and dropped it off that evening.

Yep, made the move over on Wednesday from my iP4. My experience with Apple was a great one – no complaints from me on that front, but I’ve got an iPad now so will get the best of both worlds now. Also felt that I was ready for a change – having the 3G, to then the 4 made it four years with Apple on the phone front.

Going from the first couple of days experience, it’s been awesome. Everyone I’ve shown has been impressed with the screen size and how it weighs less than the iPhone. The missus couldn’t believe that the 32GB microSD was smaller than her fingernail. I’ve put a few albums and a couple of 720p mkv’s on there and they’ve all played flawlessly – the screen is amazing. I haven’t done that much modding – still getting used to the world of Android as this is my first experience with the platform. One thing I have to say though is that the sound quality coming from the phone is brilliant – even with the packed headphones.
