I think my worst nightmare is to be present at a live football match.
Anyone else think we need an "****OFFICIAL S3 Owners Thread****" ? We have hundreds of pages all about pre-orders and other interesting bits are getting lost in the noise.

quick question , i dont seem to have the option of putting one app tile on top of the other to create a folder on my home screen , i thought this was a ICS feature but cant do it on this phone,instead i have to manually create a folder,is that the only way to do it ? works fine on my htc sensation

Yep i found this to be the case when i was playing around with an S3 a few days ago. Seems like the only way you can make folders is by manually doing it whereas with my One X, you just slide one app tile onto the other and it makes a folder, which is similar to the iOS way as well.
Think its how the touchwiz launcher on the S3 works, strange way of making folders ie one extra step unless theres an easier way of doing it.

yeah poor show from Samsung - a few more features would have made TW launcher more bearable - shame as the animations are nice.

I did, especially the paper airplanes. These were made from the white cards that were held aloft when the national anthem was played. They came down from all parts of the stadium throughout the match. I nearly had my ear taken out by a dive bomber.
As I watched I wondered if this was a new meme.

another oddity ive found,when i try to browse the phones sd card through my pc (photos) they dont show as thumbnails,it just show the generic win 7 icon for each pic,like this
any one know how to fix this ? again its fine on my sensation,and yeah i could use kies but sometimes i just want to plug in the phone and quickly rip some pics/music off without the need for kies but with this issue i cant see which photos are which unless i preview them first
is there a setting on the phone ? i highly doubt it but you never know

Considering picking up one of these. Checked CPW and I can get £210 for my S2, meaning I only pay ~£290 for it SIM free. I'm still a year into my 24 month contract with Orange (through P4U) - I'm alright to sell the phone though surely?

Well I did it guys, white sgs3 on the one plan from three.
Couple of questions though, am i stuck in contract with them the moment i leave the store as the woman said to me when i asked her, or only when i use the sim?
Also she didnt know how to sort out the pac code when i asked her to and even put 'pack code' on the ipad so i told her dont worry i will sort it later. Do i just put this in online/ring them and my old tmobile contract auto ends or do i have to cancel it with tmobile myself?
Finally, when she misunderstood me asking about plans on the sgs3 and told me i could look at the phone even though i was already doing that before i spoke to her, she hit a button on the white demo sgs3 and what looked like should have been a white screen came on and it was horrendously pink, is my phone likely to be the same batch and have that tint problem or demo phones diff? If my phone is bad, is it grounds to have it replaced or not classed as a fault?

I might be wrong but I think this is because its connected via MTP, which doesn't support thumbnailing. Check the USB connection settings, might be able to just connect it as a storage device.
My Galaxy Nexus doesn't, so I just put up with it.
