I got one from cpw yesterday as 2nd Jun was my first day to upgrade.

Will be putting ESET mobile security on it.

Got a clear skin from Tesco for it.

Now all I need is a 12yo to show me how to use all of it's features:o
 
picked up a white one yesterday! had iphones for 4 years, this is my first android! so far its soo good :) battery seems reasonable just like iphone, and the screen is gorgeous!

now one question! as this is my first android, ive noticed under settings that you can check what applications are running etc via the application manager. on mine it seems that theres loads running taking up almost 3/4 of the memory. does this matter? it doesnt affect the performance from what i can tell but it seems weird.

i downloaded the task killer and as soon as i kill them, check bk a few minutes later and they are back so im sure thats pretty pointless worrying about?

as i say my first android, just making sure this is normal

No need to kill anything - unless you see the cpu % moving when your not using the app.

Also uninstall the task killer you downloaded - Samsung's task manager is the best there is.

yea did download it once i saw it wasnt doing much :) i shant wory then, just for a new comer was a bit concerned why it appears memory is being used up if u get me! ta mate :)
 
Just thought... Has anyone claimed their entertainment pack with cpw preorder and if so how?

Was I meant to charge this for half a day before I switched it on because I didn't? :/ wanted to check for the pink tint so had to put it on. Its charging at no but still switched on, will I have screwed the battery?

Also once I use the package code, will my old contract cease automatically?
 
My phone is not switching over from mobile data to wifi automatically when I am in range of my wifi . Is there any setting that needs to be applied?

What am I doing wrong, on my htc one x the wallpaper I set for the home screen scrolls along with each screen swipe but not on this s3, I can only crop wallpaper for a single screen?
