I pre-ordered from play on the 14th, it is saying awaiting stock now so hopefully they're got enough to send mine out today/tomorrow.

Yeah, this is annoying. On the Desire pressing the menu button would drop down the address bar etc.

Guy on XDA said he phoned play.com and they told him they have enough to currently fulfill all pre-orders....

I have therefore taken the plunge and ordered one off play in the hope they will have one left for me!

Guys anyone know about the oil effect under certain lights on the back covers of the white phones? Is this considered a fault or normal? Swear i didnt notice it on my old one that i just exchanged. Googled it and seem to be mixed feelings on xda as to whether its a fault or not :|
 


First time with an android phone and the battery statistics are slightly confusing, can someone shed some light :P

OK i think i have closed all my apps through the task manager and cleared the memory , does that chart show me how much battery life is left atm, ie if left on this current screen i would have 4hrs odd life?

Are all those % processes needed , or can some of them be turned off? I think i have GPS , notifications and sync turned off, with WIFI and power saving turned and mobile data turned on.

Is there a good sort of manual/description that describes how these battery indicators work, or is there a better app than the standard android app?

You've had your phone on for 4hrs 25 minutes and have 66% of your battery left.
The items below are what has been using your battery and what % they used, not what is running at the moment. Other than the screen of course!

You can tap on the bar graph and see another detail screen.
