***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Yes it WOULD eat up data, but I have unlimited data, and I DEFINITELY make use of it ;)

Imho getting a sim with unlimited data is a must with any smart phone esp a top end phone like the S3 "will" be, my low user son (10) used up his data in a week or so in his G Ace when he only put £10 on rather than £15 voucher with Three payg, £15 is the increment at which you get unltd data. This was my main factor when I opted to put a Giff Gaff sim in my Note, I think 3 edges Giff Gaff in terms of reliability.

That's just a wild guess :p Samsung view the Note as their flagship phone now? I'm fairly sure we'll see a new Note rocking Exynos 5 in Q4, is the current note good enough to survive that long without a 'quad core' refresh?

If the rumoured Galaxy B gets an airing, or Samsung release anything that has software buttons, I have decided that I will sell a kidney if I haven't shifted my One X by then!

I hope that the new Galaxy uses the soft buttons. Just having the back button on the bottom left for the device will be worth it.

Ultimately, I need this phone to have a SD card slot (or v. minimum 32gb storage) and very good battery life (solid one day last with heavy usage including 2-3 hours of video) with similar or better HTC One X specs. If any other phone can do what I ask, I will snap it up.

Ok I'm gonna get shot down no doubt :P

But bear with me a second. Has anyone seen the new Barclays Ping it advert? Basically uses a huge wall as such of phones to advertise their new ping it service, yet when it comes to the close ups it looks surprisingly like the large screen leak photos!

And when shes sending the payment the phones white( mightnt it come in black blue and white?), screen is monstrous and looks like no phone out at the moment, phone speaker and camera looks in identical to the ones in the leaked picture, headphone socket on the left top of the phone (don't know about that) and looks to be running some type of android.

Unless of course it is all a big shop but surely wouldnt be that hard to construct really, but have a look at the video in HD and see for yourself pausing on the key parts!

If anyone could embed it it would be most appreciated ;)

looks too square and thick to be the new galaxy mate. They were probably trying to represent an iphone without actually showing it due to advertising rights etc

Agreed. It looks like a random smart phone concept with iPhone notification/top bar system (signal, wifi, time and battery).
