I really don't understand the love for OneUI, it looks awful. What's with the rounded backgrounds that separates groups of menu items? It's almost like someone has designed the UI in PowerPoint and we're told the only thing they could use was the rounded corner rectangle shape.
The Galaxy Watch update on my Pixel 3 has One UI too and it was a complete step back from before which is saying something considering it wasn't a well designed app in the first place

I would hazard a guess the rounded edges of the UI were in keeping with the rounded edges of the screen?
Perhaps but the P3 also has rounded corners but doesn't have rounded stuff all over the UI. In some places it doesn't even make sense or add any value. Take the software update menu in the screenshot someone posted above, the grey rounded box just doesn't add any value.
Well I have see on Samsung.com that the current ‘promo’ is finishing on 31/3/2019
Hopefully April 1st there are some decent discount I don’t expect more that £50 off though

I'm using the offical Samsung Black Leather cover, adds little to the bulk. I only really want to protect the sides and back.
I wonder how many of these will start to appear In the members market soon? I'll probably sell mine.

I agree with your opinion on the Black Leather cover...it adds a lot less bulk than I expected too, really happy with it.
In respect of the buds, I'm sure they will appear but I'm quite impressed with them so far, more so than I expected I would be.

Im charging it wireless, so #2 is not an option.
Anyway, I think I've got it solved now.. I think it happened as the wireless kept topping it up, and every time it was fully charged the display came on.. So I've set up Tasker to switch screen off once fully charged, hopefully that will fix it.Differences between the Exynos and Snapdragon chip, especially in the camera processing.

Quite a considerable difference on some photos, interestingly sound quality through the 3.5mm jack is also apparently inferior on the Exynos.
What is the whole story of them using different SoCs again? Completely forgotten about it at this point.

If licensing is similar to with Apple then Qualcomm get a percentage of the entire device cost, not just the SoC, they are pretty much forced to use Qualcomm in the US due to CDMA but they choose to use another SoC elsewhere.
I literally just sent then a query since I've heard nothing from them. But yes looks like they let you know when it's being dispatched.
Edit: Weirdly I only got a text when they confirmed my claim was successful, never got any other emails since I submitted my claim.

On the upside though, the latest update has drastically improved my battery life. Lasts all day now, before it was on its arse by 3pm.
My battery life has tanked since the update. It used 25% on standby overnight last night - and that was with battery saver on. Admittedly that might have been an anomaly or a rogue app but I had to charge it twice yesterday as well.
