**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S22 Family Thread ****

If I was to take the plunge I thinking I would choose the Red, looks quite striking. Reminds me of one of the Jolla phone ,the Pre-order Limited edition 'other half' case you got.

Anyone upgrading from a 512gb S21U? I can't seem to find it on the list for the trade in.

99% certain I'm not upgrading but just wanting to see how much it was going to cost.

Been to a Samsung store and they're offering more trade in, £680 instead of the £570 on the website. Plus AMEX has 10% cashback for Samsung store purchases.

If anyone upgrading from S21 Ultra, chuck it on MM, I'll gladly buy it for what Samsung are offering :D

Just did a quick GSM Arena spec comparison and apart from stylus, they look basically identical, bar usual newer SoC? Getting an offer of £430 for my Note 10+ 5G which isn't bad but seeing very little a tuak difference between this and last year's model.

Surely you could have flogged off your phone for higher elsewhere?

Maybe but selling phones privately is an absolute minefield and Ive been scammed previously so will never ever sell a phone to an individual privately again. For me the hassle of pricing it, then undoubtedly getting 3-4 lowball offers because someone in South America sold one for 3p a month before is just hassle to me.

Yes Ive lost a bit on the value maybe £100-£150 but thats absolutely worth it to me for the ease. Ive used the Samsung trade-in program 4 times now and not had a single issue.

Sigh - where are the Note like phones which don't have curved edges, silly notches in the screen, missing 3.5mm headphone socket, etc. etc.

Likewise, trade in program is hassle free for me, by the time you've worked in fees from places like eBay or hassle on private market places it's not worth it.

Will sell the buds pro for £100 new as I have the ones from last year still, not used as I have some Sony in ear ones that are better.
