**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S23 Family Thread ****

Only thing i have noticed is that sometimes Whatsapp notifications are delayed. Notification appears after I've unlocked the phone. The app is set to unrestricted.
This happens on my S7 Edge. Not used much WhatsApp on the S23U but when I send from the S7 to S23 it's been instant so far.

Also this means lots of "missed call" notifications.

How do you adjust the fstop/aperture on the camera?
Got it showing on screen, but can't find any way of changing it.

Yeah it's only happened twice. I use WhatsApp loads so can't se why it would do it.

Upside is Samsung acknowledged it and it seems to be more android related than S23 related.

See what happens.

I'm about to purchase a DJI Drone but does anyone know if the app is fully compatible yet with the S23 Ultra?

This doesn't happen all the time and seems to have started around the back end of last month (It's happened twice) So I'm not sure if this is to do with the April update, or, the March Play system update.

Reported it via the Members app to Samsung who acknowledged the issue and said they were reaching out to Google. Which to me sounds like a Google Update issue.

A few Pixel owners having the same issue to, only started in the last few weeks etc.

Also. Another Play System update dropped this morning, 9.9mb followed by 720kb. Still on March 2023 though. Think that's 5 or 6 Play System updates i've had now for March.
Do you get delayed gmail notifications too? Or just whats app?

Anker all the way.

I'm still getting amazing battery from mine, I leave it in the Light performance profile and see no performance difference as I'm not a gamer. Screen on time is 9 hours on average and that's with a work day on 5G as well.

Best Galaxy I've owned yet, finally a phone that gets Xperia Z3 battery life but with all the pros of a modern flagship.

No Gmail delayed messages here, usually see it pop into Gmail web on desktop at the same time as the phone notifies of a new email.

Yeah I'm getting great battery life here also, last weekend I charged it to 85% (Friday 7AM) and by Monday morning it was down to 28%. I'm also not a gamer and have the light performance profile on and I use it just like all my other flagships although probably not as much as most of you guys.

This is the first phone that I can honestly say I will keep beyond the next generation of Galaxy, gone are the days of wishing for the performance that they only get the other side of the pond!

Haven't trusted a Samsung phone like this for a while now when it comes to battery.

GPS drain still as heavy as before when using AllTrails on hikes but didn't expect much improvement there.
